4. Music Therapy

Research has shown the positive effects of music therapy on various mental health conditions such as depression, schizophrenia, and trauma. Music can be used to help you process trauma, emotions, and grief. However, music can also serve as a calming or regulating agent for anxiety.

5. Exposure Therapy

Exposure therapy can be used in behaviour therapy to treat anxiety disorders. Exposure therapy involves the exposure of the target patient to the anxiety source, or its context, but without the intention to create any danger. The goal is to help them overcome distress or anxiety.

6. Interpersonal Therapy

IPT, also known as interpersonal therapy, is a targeted, short-term treatment of depression. Studies show that IPT, which addresses interpersonal problems, may be just as effective as short-term antidepressant treatment for mild and moderate cases of clinical depression.

7. Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy emphasises the understanding of mental and emotion processes, as opposed to focusing on behaviours. Psychodynamic therapists seek to help clients discover patterns in their emotions and thoughts to gain insight into the current state of their lives.

8. Naturopathy Treatment

Because they care about the whole person and treat the underlying causes, Licensed Naturopathic Practitioners (NDs), are great at treating anxiety. NDs have a vast toolbox of evidence based natural therapies that includes clinical nutrition and botanical medicine as well as behavioural medicine.
